My favorite thing about these boots is the block heel. It is just under 2 inches high, so the shoes are not completely flat. With this design, I still get some flair to their casual style. I also think that this heel balances out very well with the square toe detail. The boots look amazing and fit perfectly fine on me. My feet feel comfortable on these, but I do feel them a bit too tight around my ankles. So, I wear these boots with thin socks and that helps. The shaft is about 14.5 inch tall and 15.5 inch wide on the top, my calf stays all cozy and it is not too loose. I will be wearing these all winter long. They look as very good quality and sturdy. I've never owned a pair of knee-high boots before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I absolutely love these! I love the block heel and the square toe. As you'd expect, the heel pushes your foot forward slightly, but there is plenty of cushioning in the front of the shoe to ensure they're really comfortable. The shafts of the boots don't fit tightly, but I'm okay with that. The size I wear depends on the shoe - 10 or 11. For athletic shoes, I always opt for a size 11. For shoes like this, usually a 10; I received a size 10 of these, and they fit comfortably, even with thick socks. Overall, I enjoy wearing these boots as they are beautiful and comfortable. The quality of these boots weren't quite what I was expecting. While the shoe of the boots seems to be really well-made, with a sturdy heel, I found the shaft to be lacking. The right boot, specifically, was wrinkled and a little scrunched due to packing. By the looks of the photos, I expected the shaft to be more substantial, but it's actually soft and doesn't keep it right standing shape. Nonetheless, the boots are cute on, minus the slight creasing mentioned. I ordered my normal size 8.5, and they fit well. Not a bad boot, just not great, imo. Read more
