This space heater... heats. It does the essential thing, and it pumps out quite a bit of heat fairly quickly. I would say it does that thing about as well as other fan heaters in the same price range. The things that set the heater apart are its electronics -- it has a readout for the temperature in the room, and allows you to set a desired temperature (if you don't want to just continuously increase the heat as much as you can.) It pivots 45 degrees. These are great features, and makes it a better heater than comparably priced options. But, Dave, you only gave the heater 4/5 stars! What you're saying above seems like it's an ideal product, does it not?? Yeah, it's a good heater. Feel comfortable getting it - it will do the thing you want it to do. The reason I dinged it a star is that one of those features I described is implemented in a suboptimal way. I'm about 99% sure the temperature probe is on the front of the heater. So let's say you're in the bathroom, which is ambient 68 degrees, and you'd like to bump it up to 80 degrees because you're a little sick and you like sweating the moment you get out of the shower. The heater will correctly report the ambient temperature as 68 -- but once it starts heating, it will report the ambient temperature increasing to 70 or 72 degrees within the first couple of seconds of operation. Congratulations, the air 3" in front of the heater gets up to 80 degrees after 12 seconds of operation, then the thing shuts off. Then that air disperses and it eventually turns on again for another 12 seconds. If you want to be really, really sure the room doesn't get OVER 80 degrees, this system is OK. But if you'd like the room to get UP TO 80 degrees, it's going to take a super long time. I personally do not use the temp setting, and use it as a "me heater, me blow hot air" device for this reason. If you pretend it didn't have that feature, it's great. The pivot works as intended, it's a solid construction, nice little carry handles on the top... it's a good little product. I have it pictured next to a gallon jug of water for size reference. It's considerably taller than other similarly powerful heaters I have in the house. Not a problem for me, but, you know, double check that it's the size you want for your application. Read more

Great heater! It warms right up and the remote offers excellent control from a distance. Highly functional and easy to use. There's a bit of a smell right now but I expect that to dissipate as I use it more. Works really well to keep a back room in our house warmer during the winter and am very happy to have it. Doesn't flip the breaker (like a previous heater that I'd used) and I feel like it's pretty energy efficient. Definitely recommend. Read more

Heats up fast and seems to fill the area quickly. Nice small size. Haven't needed the auto shutoff, but turning it off it does cool down first, so it's not sitting while hot. Haven't noticed any odd smells associated with it. Great for my little porch Read more

Now that the weather is colder, we've been placing it underneath our home office desk to keep our feet & legs warm while working. Keep in mind that this is a space heater, not a room heater. As such, don't expect it to heat up a large area unless your in a small enclosed room. Here are some great features that I liked: - Love that you can program a temperature and have in turn on/off. Saves on energy and makes it more comfortable than having it blow hot air constantly. - It has 2 stages of heat output so that you can choose between warm or hot. - The swivel feature is nice because it allows you to blow the air around and warms a greater area. - I also love the light at the base of the heater. It helps to call your attention to where the heater is and also make a nice "nightlight". Since we have been keeping this heater close by, I haven't tested the remote control yet. Read more

This is a pretty tall space heater. I love that it has a remote and there are many settings according to what you need. This is a very quiet heater. You do not even know it’s on except by the lights. The base of the heater has a dim light for safety. There are many safety features for this heater. It has a tip proof feature, so it will turn off if it goes off balance.. it is not hot to touch because there is no flame. Even it has a good thermostat. You said it to the temperature you want and on any setting on how you want it to work. It will rotate or stay in one spot. It has a nice long cord so you can plug it anywhere.
