Oh man, I never knew if these things actually would work, and they do!! We are always struggling with a ton of winter coats in our climate, so I grabbed the five bulkiest ones to test it in a small closet. It squeezed them down over 2/3rds without even worry about looking for a vacuum like other bags I've tried. The zippers are very sturdy, and there's a zipper that opens up the bag along the top, and then the side of the bag where you put the coats in. There's another pair of zippers down both sides that let it expand further and I probably could have jammed a few more in. Coats are easy to slide in because of the long zipper that lets the bag fold fully open. Once its loaded up you just squeeze out the air before zipping it up. The opening for the hangers can be made as big or small as it needs to be because the expansion zippers come up to the top of the bag on both sides and they can be closed as snug as needed around the hangers. Even though it's not a true vacuum bag which is more for long term storage, it still greatly reduces the foot print of bulky outerwear in the closet. It is also very protective of the clothes and I have no worries about any odors or invaders because of the clear durability. I'm going to get a few more of these and really make a difference in the hall closet as well because we can just never keep up with the changing seasons here! Read more
