I do buy Spam as a prepper item but I also use it often. It makes a great ham salad and fried up crispy it is great with eggs. I just like it thin sliced right out of the can also. Excellent Convenient product . Affordable price. It's fast and easy to warm up in a pan or microwave. Add cooked browned slices to sandwich's or hamburgers., very versatile. I fry it up and when finished browning on both sides I lay on a plate with paper towels to absorb some of the fat. I definitely recommend. life it lasts a long time . Yeah, people may scoff that is it mystery meat, but you know what? It is an island staple. Makes great musubi, excellent in saimen, and fried rice you make at home. Good fried in a pan, served on bread, with mayo and tomato. In todays economy, meat prices are outrageous. This puts just enough little something to flavor food. Back home this is a comfort food.
