Fit him fantastic. It was a great costume for less than $30 and the added accessories really brought it together. He got many compliments one being that he was the "best dressed guy" at the party. He said it was very comfortable too. The hat was the only thing that was a little tight. Ok, first off, it is an inexpensive costume. That said, the pants and shirt are good. The pants have loops at the bottom of the legs to go under your shoes, so you can wear black dress shoes to make it look like boots. The hat is ok. It gets flattened in the packaging from the manufacturer. Had to stuff it with paper for a couple of days to get it be more hat shaped rather than pancake shaped. The belt is too short. At least it was for me. It would Velcro connect, but when I let my breath it the Velcro would give way. I ended up expanding the belt about 4 inches. I used a denim iron on patch, folded length wise in half and ironed shut. That made a stiff extension. Sowed one end of the patch on to the Velcro loop end of the belt, just enough to get a couple passes with the sowing machine. Then I sowed on a strip of Velcro loops to the patch to receive the Velcro hook end of the belt. Now more Velcro connects together and the belt stays fastened better and is a bit longer. Use a black patch, or spray paint or use shoe polish to change the color of the iron on patch you used. It will look fine, it is just a costume. Read more
