Menopause sucks! My skin has changed and my hair is thinning. I've tried a few collagen creamers / peptides which also had "added" protein, but Sports Research Multi Collagen Powder won in the end. This powder dissolves easily and has very little aftertaste. Since it has no "added" protein or flavors, it's also low in calories and carbs. I've read that multi collagen is best especially when it includes all five types, not just one or two. This powder also contains hyaluronic acid which helps with healthy joints, which is an added benefit because along with menopause, comes arthritis! I add one scoop to my morning coffee along with some stevia and cream. Wish it wasn't so expensive but as they say, you get what you pay for. My first time trying this collagen, I was not disappointed. I mixed it with warm milk and blended it with my handheld electric mixer. It tasted just like hot chocolate! It does clump if you mix into cold liquids, which is stated on the label, so as long as you mix it properly, you won’t have any issues. I haven’t tried it in hot liquids, but I’m sure it would work fine as long as you wait a little bit for the drink to cool down. Too hot of liquids could affect the quality of the collagen powder. Good quality and quantity for the price which is always my concern when I buy any supplement. I like that this is affordable yet made with higher standards still. I have tried others and they made me nauseous. There is a slight hint of flavor but there is in all unflavored collagen products. If you are sensitive to this I would recommend the pill form. The pills need to be taken with lots of fluid. I did venture to the other forms with just basic collagen to the multi collagen. The multi collagen works the best. Results in stronger nail and thicker healthier hair what I noticed first. My joints are feeling much better also. I use this in my coffee, just one scoop a day. It can be used with a smoothie, in some chicken broth or soup. It dissolves best in hot liquids and mixes well with protein powder. It may feel like you aren't getting the full amount since the bottle is not completely full when you first open, but there is a 30day supply by scoop if one scoop a day is used. If you choose to use this product more than once a day then you will get less in a month. I would recommend this product. Read more
