These are great quality spotlights! I love the gold and black color to make it look classier for displays. The all black are nice looking too. You charge them up (you only get the cord, but you can attach the USB to an outlet adapter), and there is a nice button you can click to turn it on or off. Or you can use the remote control, which allows you to change the brightness. The bottom is also magnetic and comes with a separate magnet. This came in clutch when I used a spotlight for a haunted house. I was able to place this spotlight on a hanging curtain by putting the strong magnet on the other side of it! It shined down onto a door exactly as I wanted, and I could lower the brightness for spookiness. Very nice quality spotlights that you can place on the floor or shelf or hang via a curtain! Since the lights can be adjusted a little bit, you probably could make this work on a ceiling to shine down as well. And then for storing, the light folds down, so it's just a puck. These are simply fantastic little spot LED's. They put out just enough light (we use them at 50% setting) to highlight an artificial tree we have in a corner of our living room. They are unobtrusive and easy to find a place to set. The timer on the remote is a plus and the fact that they are recharbable (USB type C) makes them a real winner in my view as there are no batteries to deal with. Ironically they came to us with the power on, when we opened the box they were both putting out a beam of light! I thought that might affect battery life but they did take a full charge based on the red to green led indicator so I just hope the internal battery lasts. So far we've gotten 3 or 4 nights of use and they are still going strong on the original charge. And they are rather attractive as well with their black puck shape and the brushed gold lens holder. These small spot lights are PERFECT. They are dimmable so you can adjust the amount of light. I love the little remote control with the timer that you can set for up to 6 hours. They angle well and I appreciate their small profile. It did not take long to charge and I have used one now for 36 hours and it still has a charge, so I hope that that charge will last a fair amount of time. SInce there are 2 in the package and I am only using 1, then it is great because I have the 2nd one as a back up when the battery needs to be charged on the one I am using. Purchased two sets of these to uplight our limestone fireplace and our front, covered porch. We couldn't be more pleased. The two sets came with a total of four remotes, but you can use any one of them to control all the lights. Easily adjustable to get the look you want including two brightness settings. I never do reviews, but this product deserves one. 6 stars if I could. Very happy for the price point. Approximately 40 hours run time before recharging, I use the timer to conserve battery life.
