I love this SPRI Ultra Toner in Medium (Red) even more than the Light (Green), and VERY LIGHT (Yellow). I started with Yellow Exertubes and Yellow Ultra Toner. I could not use the Green because I wasn't in good enough shape after elbow and knee surgeries. When I was able to move up to Green, I was ecstatic, now I was starting to Build the muscles the Yellow had made functionable. And now I am using the Red Ultra Toner! Wow! Talk about an improvement in strength and energy. I love how the Red feels. The tubing is heavier than the light ones, and it's more satisfying when I pull on it for stretching, it's sturdier and gives me a bigger feeling of accomplishment. I expect to be moving up to the Blue (Heavy) very soon. Prior to injuries I was in great shape, worked out twice a day, looked good, felt good, had strength and energy. I am trying to get back to that place with tubing, and it seems to be working for me. I also use the LexLoop in Yellow, and now Green. I haven't tried tubing by other companies, but that's because I'm so satisfied with SPRI I see no reason to change. Update : 8 / 21/16. I have purchased, and started using, the Blue -- Heavy. I love it, however, I am not through with the Red -- Medium, yet. However, for upper body, two hands, shoulder level, I really needed the Blue, but for stepping on it, and pulling straight up, I am still a Red. My lower body is not as strong as my upper yet, and even my upper still needs more work. I'm some happy to have the various Resistance Bands levels (weight), to workout with. I'm learning that individual muscles react differently to different level resistance bands. My lower body muscles are slower to build and tone then my upper. And now that I broke my stupid little toe, stubbing it hard on a box I was packing, my lower body will be even slower, because now I'm limited on my usual movements. All that said, I can't wait to try Purple, Very Heavy, for my upper body. Not yet, but soon, I hope ! :-) Read more

When this arrived, I was a bit disappointed bc I expected more. Then I started using it - don’t be fooled by the slight size. This thing packs a punch. If I had gotten the next level up, I wouldn’t be able to use it. Great for starters. Easy to use. Making a difference. In six months, I’ll level up. Read more

I have been using the "SPRI Ultra Toner Medium Resistance (Red)" for two weeks and I can only speak highly of it. While I also bought the SPRI ES501R Xertube Resistance Band with Door Attachment and Exercise Charts (Red, Medium) , I have to say that it's not really necessary since you can use the Ultra Toner for both upper and lower body work. The Ultra Toner is small and lightweight, making it perfect for taking to the gym, to work, on vacation, or on a business trip. The Ultra Toner is particularly good for biceps and shoulder work. The trainers at my gym use it for leg and thigh exercises, but I find it to be far from ideal. While the Ultra Toner red resistance band is excellent, I have just ordered the Ultra Toner blue resistance band which is heavy resistance. The item I ordered, SPRI FCS-HBR Fitness Conditioning System Xering and Ultra Toner (Heavy Resistance) , contains both an Ultra Toner and an Xering, which is specifically designed for leg and thigh work. The product comes with black and white instructions, which are OK to get you started, but you're going to want to find something more inspiring. I suggest checking the SPRI website and YouTube, both of which have excellent videos for this product and other resistance bands. Highly recommended, buy with confidence. Read more
