The good and the bad
I bought the Yeba boots for the royal blue color and the funny little flowers. The price indicates, correctly, that these are not going to be the sturdiest, most long-lasting sort of boot. The leather is thin and soft, which makes them more comfortable. They're pretty good looking except for the ugly, imitation combat boot heel. I think I'll keep them anyway because I'm not the one who has to look at the heel. As for size, I ordered two styles of Spring Step boots in 8.5 (39 European). This pair is a little too generously sized while the other pair was too small. Oddly, the laces are elastic, perhaps for an easier on/off with the zipper; but that means they're less able to hold when I tighten them. The extra room will allow for heavier socks, which will be a necessity in the colder months because the shoes have no insulation. I suggest ordering your usual size if you have a medium width foot but make sure you'll have free returns unless you don't mind paying return shipping if the shoes don't fit.
