I am 5'5" and 135 lbs. Per several reviews I ordered up 1 size (I usually take a M so I ordered a L). They are just how I wanted them to fit: loose, comfortable, and almost to my ankle. I am always surprised with the fit of any elastic waist. However, going up 1 size and this being a wide elastic covered waistband, It was NOT too tight and uncomfortable. I could wear either a tank top tucked in, or a different type of top tucked in, if I want to, without that horrible confining feeling or "bunching at the waist" effect. The best part: The item in "black" was indeed cotton and linen. And SO SOFT! I washed them before wearing in cold water, then put them in air dry (no heat) dryer to soften again so they wouldn't dry stiff. PERFECT! I may even get another pair or 2! Read more
These pants are so comfy, they do run big so size down. The pant's shrink a little after washing, so for 5ft a small is good. They stretch in the waist and are baggy. They are as described and look very cute on. Good find, good price. Read more

The picture looked so cute! They were much too long for me and very “billowy”. The fabric was very thin so I would probably have kept them for summer if they had fit. I received a light color pair as a gift. I liked the look of them and feel of them so much that I ordered a brown pair as well. I use these for work as a holistic practitioner. The elastic waistband is comfortable and is nicely tapered with the leg. Not too bulky And the pockets work well. Very happy with price and the material quality. I were a 16 and the XL fit perfect. Very nice looking pants, but sit down for 10 min and they are completely creased. You look messy the rest of the day. I am so disappointed in the fabric. It is nice and cool, but nothing like the pictures to wear casually, unless you always want to look messy. Read more
