Edited 18 months after first purchase: we still LOVE these water bottles, they are still the favorite of our special needs, now 5 y/o. They keep the require ice cubes in his water from melting, even in the hot summers. We love the new construction design! We even bought their sleeping bag for preschool and our son also LOVES that. I’ve purchased many different types of cups and water bottles over my 21 years of being a parent. My toddler has had the most choices by far but it’s still been a struggle finding what works best. Fortunately I finally have and I’ll never go back to plastic! I don’t use it for warm drinks but it keeps cold drinks perfectly I can only imagine it works just as well with warm! My son throws and drops everything and this hasn’t chipped at all! His plastic thermos are all dinged up and disfigured they even have sharp ridges from the wear and tear. Worst of all the condensation drove me mad, water was constantly streaming off on the outside leaving puddles and drips all over and ice melted in less then 30 minutes depending on the temperature. This has ZERO condensation! ZERO wear and tear! MUCH easier to clean than his other water bottles and actually keeps ice frozen overnight and longer! I purchased two plan on purchasing more! Update: we liked this enough to buy a second one! Handy to have a second one when one is in the dishwasher. Exactly as advertised, my 2.5 year old loves drinking so much water thanks to this water bottle. We needed one without a stopper that was spill resistant (this won't spill if the mouthpiece is closed), needed it to be dishwasher safe, 14oz size so it wasn't too big for my little one to hold, but big enough that he can use it for years to come without me filling it all the time.
