Lemon zesting machine. Good quality and easy to clean.
In addition to one of those "non-cut" gloves, I bought this lemon zester believing it to be, at max, 3" long. You know? Something you can hold in your hand and just go to town on the lemon. Boy was I wrong. This thing is easily 7-8" long, and huge. But there in lies the irony: I didn't realize how much of a BLESSING this would be to have it sit on a surface instead of hand-holding it. Now, I take the whole lemon, zest its entire surface on top, and within a minute tops the entire lemon zest is done. So efficient, and with the cut-prevention glove I don't have to worry about cutting my fingers. My only complaint is when done, most of the zest will cling to the underside of the grate (instead of falling in to the container). But this is a super minor issue which is easily fixed by just running my fingers inside and dumping the mass of zest in the container. Sprinkle on top of food, volah! Overall: I would suggest this zester to anyone. It comes with two sizes: Small (lemon zesting), and larger holes (making carrot sticks or something?). It's worth the price and I use it every time I make lemon zest chicken breast. Thank you. Read more
