I recently received these shoes and overall I’m really happy with them. They’re cute, the are tall enough to reach the knee (I have long legs so it can be a challenge) but — more importantly — they’re comfortable enough for regular wear. What I liked: • Height & style: They’re tall enough to give a nice boost, but the design still looks classy and wearable. I’ve gotten a few compliments already. • Comfort: Despite the height, they don’t feel awkward or painful to walk in — even after a few hours. They strike a nice balance between “tall and chic” and “walkable.” I have a nerve entrapment issue on my inner foot and heels are excruciating after only a few minutes - with these, I feel no pain. Roomy toe box! • Fit: They fit true to size for me and didn’t feel tight or loose; I could walk around without adjusting them constantly. • Quality (so far): The material and look match what’s pictured, and they don’t feel flimsy. For the price, I felt like I got good value. They do have a chemical smell to them that's rather strong, so let them air out before wearing for the first time! Overall: These shoes hit the sweet spot for me: they look good, they’re taller than average (which I love), and they’re comfortable enough for regular wear. These black leather boots exceeded my expectations. The leather is soft and supple right out of the box, but still tough enough to stand up to scuffs and everyday wear. They feel durable in a way that makes me think they’ll last a long time. They’re also surprisingly comfortable — I’ve worn them for several hours at a time with no issues, which isn’t something I can say for most boots in this price range. These are SO comfortable, and I'm someone who can't wear heels. I wear combat boots 99% of the time, even with dresses, but I love the look of knee high boots.
