Amazing value for the money

I did a lot of research before deciding to purchase this particular piece of exercise equipment. Hands-down is the best value for your money and the most versatile piece of equipment on the market. Sturdy and well-built you won’t feel like you are working out on a tin can with this device. It’s made from real steel unlike some of the other ones you’ll find. In addition their customer support is very good. The back rest portion of my unit had a very small cut in the leather, probably there from shipping crates being opened. I contacted customer service through email and within a week I had a new backrest portion delivered to my door. I’ve been using this for about six months now and absolutely love it. Read more

Worth the price for a beginner home gum

This was actually easy to put together by myself. All the holes lined up and no missing parts. Not too heavy to move around in the garage. Has everything I need to begin my calisthenics training. Read more

It’s ok

The paint had big scratches in couple places and the bench had a hole in it. Sending it back will be too much work cause it’s big so I have to keep it :( Read more

Servicable but disappointing

We've had this rig for about 2 months, and hubby & I have both used it repeatedly. CONS: Biggest complaint is the whole unit is tippy & the bench is rickety. Its tall, and not as heavy as it looks. While I haven't feared it would fall while I've been hanging on it, it wouldn't take more than a hard push to the side to knock it over when not in use. Also, you will never want to do a muscle up on this. I'm pretty sure it would tip if you did. We have had to purchase furniture straps to tie this to the rafters in the basement ceiling. The bench is attached with 1 hinge rather than 2, so it wobbles a lot, especially when other parts of the tower are in use. If you do pull ups or oblique crunches with the bench stowed, the bench rattles and moves enough to be really distracting. The foam padding on the pull up bar is not glued in place so it rolls under your grip, making it impossible to wrap your hands over the top of the bar at all. You can really only grip with your palm starting to roll under the bar. PROS: for $210 it's a servicable roman chair and pull up bar with a bonus bench, all of which work for basic straight on movements. The wieght tolerances are good enough that a good sized person can use this (I will not be going over though). The upholstery on the arm rests and bench seems to be good, and the padding is thick. The paint looks nice and I haven't noticed any sloppy application, so it looks nice in the corner of the room. I did some research before buying this, but didn't have a way to go look at the choices we considered. For $210, it does what it says well enough, and it appears to be reasonably well made even with the less heavy metal they used and the seriously flawed bench design. I'm not sure there's anything better at this pricepoint, but I would have strongly considered spending more rather than buying this if I had tried it in person first. Read more

Not A Good Buy

Only positive thing I could say about this, is the price. Once I got it, parts were damaged. Parts were missing, it’s unstable even after ensuring all is put in correct. I’m 150LB and it barely can hold me, it’s more likely to hold someone 130 Max. I was very disappointed. Read more

So far, so good -- great value for the price I paid

Bought this from Amazon's daily deal site, Woot, for $152. Assembly was VERY easy and straight forward, particularly using a socket wrench. The whole tower feels quite solid and firm. (Having used this only a few times so far, I remain a bit hesitant about the two little pegs for dips, but not because I've actually seen any problem with them -- but I am just hoping the bars actually extend down into the larger metal pieces for more strength and stability and are not just (weakly) affixed at the ends.) There were a few very slight paint imperfections, but nothing problematic at all. In a few areas if bolts were overtightened, you could begin to see some slight inward denting of the beams, but I just stopped and loosened a turn - still a tight fit. One small problem with one part, but I called and they are sending me a replacement. My knees do hit or touch the bench a bit when doing pull ups, but not at all bothersome. I thought about that before buying, but just as the pics/video of this unit show, it's not very problematic at all and I'm just glad to have it available. The tower fits fine in my garage -- I had to be careful where I placed it so that the garage door guides did not get in the way of the pull up bar and so that the middle piece affixed to the middle of the door didn't bang into the top of the tower when opening and closing. At the $152 price I paid on Woot, I think this was a great deal (particularly since I have suspended my gym membership during the pandemic). (And, having seen it, I would pay more for it - although at about $300, I might still get it, but I'd think a while about that.) Read more

Good for someone under 200lbs, light workouts.

Supports are not very sturdy, frame is thin-walled square iron. Weld on the bench to fold it up/down was terrible, 3 degree slant int he weld from left to right, meaning the bench leans to one side, doesn't fold up for storage well and creaks heavily under the lightest stress of a 175lb man. If you're over 200 lbs, realize you can't bench more than 100lbs on this or you might break the bench...although I'm betting it'll break under an even lighter load. For inexpensive workout station for a lighter person, it's a good starter, but don't count on it lasting long-term. Save your money, buy something better for better long-term use. Read more
