What is there to say... we know the STANLEY quality is there. This item has become my go-to when leaving the house. I used to have a hard time remembering to drink water and leaving my bottles everywhere. Now I hang this one up like my purse - which is always close by, and so I never forget it or lose it. I also use the straps for other things like my phone or a a purse when going out. It is a great item and I love it. Keeps my drinks cold up to 24 hours, doesn't leak at all, and perfect size. I got this mainly for grocery shopping or doctor appointments and quick trips where I know I don’t need a ton of water but want to carry some with me. But it turns out I’ll be using this even around the house while just lounging. I’ve refilled it pretty frequently while home, which I don’t mind. It holds more than a standard glass of water/bottle of water (16 oz usually). It fits nicely in the hand and I take the strap off when using it at home. My 4 year old loves to drink from it too and carry it around. Because I like it so much, it’s causing me to drink way more water than I usually would compared to using my tall slim 36 oz Stanley quick flow bottle, which is less comfortable to use due to needing to unscrew a lid off completely and tipping it far back to get water since it’s so tall. But this canteen has a straw! It’s slim in the hand, keeps drinks cold, really cute looking! It doesn’t bang around and is not bulky like a round bottle. I haven’t had issues with leaking. I love the rubber grip on the bottom. It stands well, I thought it would easily be knocked over but not so! You potentially could drink from it without a straw if you wanted to, just fyi. I just hope when it comes time to cleaning it that the rubber seals will easily come off and go back in. I got it on sale for $52 which makes me more happy about it. I’ve wanted it for awhile and didn’t want to spend the full $75 but saving a few bucks made me go for it and I’m so glad I did. Even if it was $75, I’d probably still go for it now that I know how great this little canteen is. Might get one for each of my kids and my husband at some point, especially with some colors being on sale right now since the new colors were recently released at full price. Read more

This STANLEY 23oz Insulated Stainless Steel Cross Body Travel Bottle with Removable Straw, Tritan Lid and Jacquard Strap measures 9.3 x 5 (just the bottle) and weighs 1.11 pounds (including strap). According to the manufacturer this travel bottle is to only be used for cold liquids and not for hot liquids. It is clearly written in the care and use booklet that comes with it. I was looking for a canteen with a strap to use for both travel and for walking in hot weather. I am getting tired of carrying a frozen water bottle and dealing with condensation. This Stanley cross body travel bottle was the only one that caught my eye. There does not seem to be many on the market that have strap attachments. You can buy carrying bags for water bottles but that is not what I wanted. I decided to order this and try it. I love the look of this bottle! The size, the material, the adjustable strap, the 1.5 inch opening for pouring and filling with ice cubes, the silicone bottom and the removable straw. All of these things make this a 5 star rating! So why did I not give it 5 stars? I am not a straw person (using straws gives you wrinkles) and since it is advertised as having a removable straw I was hoping that I would be able to drink right out of the canteen opening. The straw can be removed but drinking out of the opening is a frustrating challenge. If you hold the canteen at too high of an angle you have liquid spill all over yourself. The triangle plastic piece that is built into the cap and holds the straw causes liquid to go in all directions. I wish that the inner triangle piece that holds the straw in place was removable thus making this usable both with a straw and without it. This canteen is VERY nice and I am battling with myself if I should keep it. If I used straws it would be an easy decision. But because I do not use straws I am truly torn. I have done many searches and cannot find anything even close to the look of this. What to do, what to do. 4 1/2 stars! Read more
