This Stanley 1200 AMPNCharging Station is pure junk. Do not waste your money. I bought it because of the Stanley name which is worthless and now owned by a company called Baccus Global in Boca Raton, FL. I called them to try to resolve the issue and they sent paper work to return it .TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE THE LED SCREEN DOES NOT WORK - See picture They would not cover freight so the cost of freight would have been half what I paid So not putting good money after bad. It does not keep a charge for more than three days and has an error message on the LED that cannot be cleared. I paid $110.00 and will never see that again. I have a disability conversion van for my daughter, and it has quite a few problems. In it's defense, it is 20 years old (she is not), and since I bought it 5 years ago it has had something going on for pretty much that whole time. One of my largest concerns is being stranded because it will not start. Well, this solves that problem perfectly. Due to some electrical gremlin, the battery, while fine, will discharge quickly, sometimes as fast as 1 hour. Other days, it will start up 3 days after it last ran. It is a shot in the dark (sometimes literally, it is winter as I write this). As such, it needs a jump almost every time we start it. And this makes it simple, quick, and worry free. I have used it 2-3 times per week, if not more on busy weeks where we have to use it for many appointments, and it has only been charged once, and that is cause my father wanted to make sure it was good to go. No problems hooking it up, is nice and light so it is easy to move, and is the perfect size to sit on the flat portion of the engine bay so no concerns about it falling off. The only problem I have, and it is very minor, is that aiming the light can be a bit difficult as it only has 1 degree of movement, so it might not shine directly where I need it unless I twist the whole device, which upsets the balance on the surface it sits on slightly. Overall, the best thing I have purchased in quite some time, and something that everyone should have in their garage. It is a low enough cost it can be on standby, and there for when you might need it. It is reliable enough that it can be used to start your vehicle every time it starts if needed. And it is a perfect size if you need to keep it in your vehicle. It can sit under a seat, in the corner of your trunk, or even behind the spare tire in the back portion of the van like I have. I ordered the Stanley J5C09D 1200 Peak Amp Automotive Jump Starter recently and already put it to good use. I shop at a 24hr supermarket. It was 4:00AM, at 23 degrees, and it was cold, dark, and scary. I left the lights on the car for far too long without the car running to give it the electrical charge needed while I was putting early morning groceries away in my home. When I tried to start the car, it couldn't because of the battery was drained. After receiving the unit from Amazon and immediately completed the 100% charging of the jumper pack , I secured it into my trunk. But once it couldn't turnover, I started to make use of it. Simple as 1-2-3. The car started right away with its powerful jump start capabilities and I was on my way. Worth every Dollar of it and highly recommend owning one for your vehicle or purchase multiple ones to have in your autos. Wish I could give this Stanley jumper pack a million stars or thumbs up. I previ.\n Ously owned a Stanley charger that lasted for at least 12 years. And finally stopped working. I bought this replacement in January of 2025 and used it once to inflate my tires. When I went to use it this January 2026, it needed to be charged. I charged it for 2 days and would not make a full charge. When I stopped charging and looked at the gage, it only had a very slight charge and did not work to inflate my tires. Sad, because my other one lasted for so many years and this one was worthless. It is a nice product. But if you can provide the charging cable along with it then it would be nice to shoppers not to worry about how to charge it once discharged. Even if it requires a slight price with the cable included that would be fine. Read more
