Nice lightweight pot
I got this as a kitchen pot since I wanted something lightweight and all of the kitchen saucepans these days seem to be pretty heavy. Since I couldn't find the weight of the pot anywhere online, I will let you all know that it is 414 g (14.6 ounces), including the handle. This is quite light for an almost 2 quart pot, but also heavy compared to the super lightweight aluminum 1.5 quart backpacking pots, so I guess it depends on your intended use. The folding handle works nicely and doesn't get hot even after boiling a pot of water. It is a little bit wiggly like you would expect from a folding handle, so I might replace it with a more firmly mounted handle. You can remove the folding handle if you want to do that. I ran the pot through the dishwasher no problem with the handle attached. Read more
Nice pot but heavy
Nice looking pot. I wish the lid locked closed instead of fitting loosely on top. I liked how the handle folds in. It was a bit too heavy for me, and there are lighter pots available. I also didn't need the many other items it came with. I am pretty sure the items are made in China, so I have no need for them. Wish the item came only with the pot for a lower price. Read more
