The size makes it easy to cook or heat different food items in this pan at the same time. Heat dispersion is good and food in different corners of the pan seem to cook pretty evenly. The quality seems great and the handle doesn't get as hot as I thought it would either. Read more

I'm a big fan of Stanley triple layer frying pans . They are heavier than the competitions but when using , are streets ahead . Heavy is a relative term of course and I am willing to carry the small "B" series pan on day hikes . This square pan is too big and heavy for that but the extra room is useful when car camping . The handle feels a little weak on this pan due to the weight , but Stanley have addressed this with a handle on the opposite side as well . When using there isn't a hot spot like a single layer pan and the steel is more scratch resistant than aluminium . It's also food safe ( some steel pans are toxic and so is aluminium .) Its also easy to clean , Just add cold water and bring it to the boil . Then pour out and wipe . Read more

Great cooking pan for camping. Has more than met expectations for cooking campware. Used several times and seems to heat evenly over the entire surface of the pan. Like the face I can cook the bacon without cutting it or having it ride up the sides of the pan. Cleans up easily. Not really made for backpacking because of the weight. Read more
