Seeing mixed reviews on this item had me a little concerned, but my old Staples office chair mat had lasted me 18 years and I decided to stick with the company. I'm glad I did. While only time will tell how long this mat will hold up, I'm very pleased with what I got. The mat was delivered flat, saving me the agony of trying to unroll it, and it was clean and new with no funny smell. It stays put on the carpet just fine and the chair rolls like a dream on it. While there is some denting underneath the chair rollers, it's temporary and doesn't interfere with chair movement. If anything I'd say it dents very little considering the 200 pounds mashing down on it. I would definitely recommend this product! Read more

Nice mat except it was not shipped in a box. It was extremely dirty and we had to wash it several times to remove all the dirt and crud on both sides. Read more
