I’ve used a lot of super glues over the years, but the Starbond Medium CA Glue really stands out. It bonds fast, clean, and incredibly strong. I accidentally glued two of my fingers together and had to reach for the acetone, so trust me, this stuff means business. The medium viscosity gives you just enough time to position things before it sets, which makes it perfect for woodworking, repairs, and small projects. The Pro Kit comes with extra tips and micro nozzles, making it easy to apply precisely and store without clogging. If you want a professional-grade glue that works on almost anything and holds like iron (just don’t get it on your skin), this is the one to get. Read more

**Starbond 2 Ounce Medium CA Glue Review** **Price and Value:** The Starbond 2 ounce medium CA glue is a bit pricier than some other options out there, but I believe it's worth the extra cost. It offers great quality and reliability, making it a solid investment for those who need a dependable adhesive. **Cap Design:** One of the standout features of this glue in my opinion is its cap design. Unlike many other glues, this one doesn’t end up gluing its own cap shut, which is a huge plus. It saves a lot of hassle and keeps the glue usable for longer. That being said, CA glu's always glue themselves shut eventually, so always buy the smallest amount you can get away with. **Pouring Spouts:** The extra thin pouring spouts are fantastic for precise applications. They are single-use, so I reserve them for tasks where precision is important. They work wonderfully when needed. **General Use and Performance:** This medium thickness glue is perfect for everyday use. It handles plastics really well, so you don't always need the super thin options. I haven't tried the light or heavy versions, but the medium one serves as a great all-purpose glue. It's especially handy for fixing toys and other household items. **Strength and Comparison:** I haven't noticed a big difference in strength between high-quality and low-quality CA glues, but Starbond stands out for its overall quality and ease of use. It’s a reliable choice for anyone with regular gluing needs. **Notes about applications** I like to use baking soda for 2 reasons, 1) to accelerate the drying speed, and 2) To enhance the volume of glue that can be applied, often making it stronger. If you don't know about it, give it a shot, I find it really helpful, and I use this glue with baking soda almost exclusively. The baking soda trick does make the glue bond really messy and ugly looking, so if you care about a final look, you won't want to use it. For practical repairs, or hidden repairs, I use baking soda all the time. Read more

It worked exactly as expected, no complaints. I wanted activator with it and mistakenly thought it was included. Strictly my problem. I simply looked at the picture and it appeared to have two containers. Read more

I’ve been using the Starbond Medium Super Glue Pro Kit for a variety of woodworking projects, and it performs exactly as advertised. The glue bonds quickly and reliably, holding wood pieces together without any slippage. I like that the medium viscosity gives a nice balance—it’s thick enough to control application, yet thin enough to seep into tight joints for a strong hold. The kit itself is well-packaged and includes everything you need to get started, though I do wish it came with an accelerator to speed up curing when I need an immediate bond. Even without it, the glue dries fast enough for most typical woodworking tasks, and the bond strength is excellent. Overall, this is a high-quality, dependable glue kit that I’d gladly use and recommend to anyone working with wood. Read more

Good product. Works well for balsa wood airplane projects and anything else that requires super glue. Be sure to use a small amount. Too much glue with result in a poor bond. Read more

Starbond completely fixes the most infuriating part of using super glue: the permanently cemented nozzle. I use this medium viscosity CA glue for assembling 3D printed desk accessories and fixing household items. The medium thickness provides perfect control without making a mess, but the real star is the delivery system. The anti-clogging pin-cap and massive supply of disposable micro-tips ensure you can actually use every drop in the bottle over time. Why it works: The pin-cap and micro-tips completely eliminate clogged nozzles. Medium viscosity seamlessly fills hairline cracks and bonds tiny pieces. Usage Quirks: Siphoning: The liquid tends to siphon back out of the nozzle. You must tap the bottom of the bottle on your desk to force the glue down before capping it to keep the threads clean. Storage: You need to store it in your kitchen refrigerator to stop the bottle from self-curing over time. The Bottom Line: The absolute gold standard for precision super glue, provided you follow the specific tapping and refrigeration steps. Read more

Purchased this in November of 2023; I tried a number of single-use types, you know, open it, use it and then trash it. Then I read about this on a 3D printing site. This stuff is amazing. I store it in the refrigerator. I've used it many, many times in the last 2+ years and its great adhesive bonding ability is as good as the first time is used it. After using it today (01/25/2026) and marveling that it is still liquid and not dried up or coagulated, I said to myself, "Self, you need to share your experience." If you must know, it still sticks my fingers to objects or to themselves when I'm not careful even after all this time. If you are wondering if I will purchase it again, the answer is YES, if and when I run out. As you don't slop this stuff on, a 2oz. bottle goes a long way. I'm a "Verified Purchaser". Read more
