This thing is wonderful. Extremely sturdy, great build, every piece feels like quality, like it'll last. Super easy to put together. No wobble whatsoever. It can also hold my oversized laptop without an issue. It's expensive but you get what you pay for, and if you're buying for ergonomics cheaping out on a different stand that doesn't do what you need might as well be throwing money in the toilet. Finally found a stand/riser that fully supports my 18" gaming laptop (Alienware M18 R2 in case others are needing a reference.) Setup was super easy and so is the height adjustment. This stand is more stable and structurally sound than any I've tried previously--no wobbling if typing on the laptop keyboard, no wobbling from residual pressure/force onto my desk surface and supporting keyboard. There's plenty of room underneath the stand to push an attached keyboard closer to it, saving some inches of desk space and bringing me closer to the screen when needed. So glad to have made this purchase seeing it in low stock. And yes, it's pricey compared to other stands on Amazon, but it's worth every penny. I don't see this thing breaking down in my lifetime. I have a big 17.3" laptop and am a computer programmer, so I use it a lot. I had a stand that I liked, but wanted one that could put the laptop higher, for ergonomic reasons. In other words, I wanted to slouch less when I sit in front of my computer. I bought two different ones that I ended up returning. They were super fancy, with lots of different parts and positions. However, my laptop just did not feel secure on those contraptions. I had pretty much given up, until this stand caught my eye. It looked basic. I wanted basic. And yes, it is basic! It's very easy to set up, it's sturdy and holds my laptop secure. I would love it if the front barrier could be slightly higher, but it holds my laptop in place, so I can't deduct stars for this. My laptop is 17.3". The last stand I tried was a little wobbly... It was effortless to assemble the stand and not wobbly when I placed my laptop on it. It's a little pricy compared to the other ones. But if you have a bigger laptop, you should get this stand. Read more

Sturdy. Solid. I can type on my laptop while it's on there and it doesn't bounce around. I do wish there was a part I could put beneath it, like a rubber pad or something, to place my Apple bluetooth keyboard & magic trackpad on next to each other. For now I have cardboard and tape, which works but is ugly. Read more
