This is exactly what I needed! I was hesitant, but bought it anyway. Boy; am I glad I did! I needed to use two monitors on my laptop that wasn't just an extended screen. This works far beyond my expectations and I couldn't be more grateful to have found this product. If you need a converter; this is IT! I would definitely buy this over and over again if I had the need. The adapter works with my laptop and both monitors I have plugged into it, it has held up to plugging and unplugging my monitors several times throughout the week as I use the monitors on my work laptop and my personal laptop, so they are being switch frequently. I looked all over and spoke to several technical people regarding how to add two additional monitors to a laptop with only one HDMI port. No one knew how to do it. I looked at dozens of cables and docking stations but everything only mirrored the two monitors. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would want mirrored monitors except maybe in a training environment. Then, I ran across this product and read the reviews. It sounded perfect. I ordered this product and it came with easy to read and follow instructions. The entire time to get my Windows 10 laptop configured to use my (2) 27" Philips monitors took less than 10 minutes. The instructions show you how to download and run one executable file, the system restarts, you plug both monitors into this thing via HDMI cables and presto. Everything came up and is working beautiful The resolution is outstanding, mouse response time between screens is normal, everything is great. I went into Windows Setting and selected Display and told Windows what screen I wanted to make my primary screen. I should mention that all three screen showed up in the Windows Setting Utility. This tells me that the product interfaces great with Windows 10. The product is about $50 I think but worth every penny. For the one time $50 investment, I can now use my $600 worth of monitors. I'm actually looking forward to work on Monday so I can start taking advantage of my two beautiful displays. I high recommend buying this product. If you aren't satisfied, just return it. I have a workstation set up for dual external displays. This little wizard has no trouble expanding the display of the laptop. It does get warm, some would say hot, but its not like it is threatening to catch fire or anything. No smell of hot plastic at all. It is very easy to use, is very easy to connect (assuming you have the right cables for the displays and a free USB port on the laptop). The laptop connects and expands the displays very quickly and I don't detect that there are any connectivity issues at all. The adapter is lightweight and takes up hardly any space in a bag. It does not need an external power sources, so this is a grab-and-go item. I would probably have one of these in my laptop bag if I still did travel work. Read more
