My biggest takeaway - I wish I had more control over it. First, it looks nice and all the parts seem quality enough. The hose is an ample length and so is the power cord. It heats up really fast and the steam output is high. There is no changing the nozzle while the machine is running. You choose your nozzle (and there are quite a few with no indications on what nozzles work best for which situation) and install it on the hose. You plug in the device then hit the power button. It heats up quickly and then steam starts pouring out. There's a range from 1-8 accessible only by + or - buttons and it starts out on 1. One would think that option 1 would be the lowest option but I'm really not sure. It pumped out a lot of steam and honestly, it kind of freaked me out. I used this in my bathroom to try to clean up the grout lines and it didn't really do anything for those. It did make cleaning the gunk under the shower door gasket easy, but I'm not sure it worked any better than a bit of water, cleaning solution, and elbow grease. It's also very loud when it gets going and I'm just not a fan. I would prefer something that's a little more intuitive and easier to operate. Read more

The kitchen was the location of my first session, and I focused on the region around the cooktop and the seam that runs between the counter and the wall, which seem to look weary all the time. I carefully moved the steam down the lines after attaching a thin nozzle to the tank, which I had already filled and let heat up. After just a few passes, areas that typically required vigorous scrubbing began to give way, and a simple swipe with a towel was sufficient to remove the residue that the steam had dislodged. There was no difficulty in discerning the distinction that existed between the burners and the backsplash. The sink and faucet area also reacted in the same way. I directed the steam to the base of the faucet as well as to the tiny crevices that are difficult to reach with one's hands. There, the film was softened by short bursts, and once again, a towel trailed after to clean up all of the debris. I did not get the impression that I had spent the whole night working on it, and the metal and the counter that was around it seemed to be cleaner. One attachment is used by me to draw the lines that separate the floor tiles, and another attachment is used by me to trace the line that separates the tub from the wall. Instead of brushing the whole area, I allowed the steam to linger for a short period of time before proceeding to wipe it away. After that, the lines on the tiles are more clearly visible, and the floor has a well-maintained appearance that I seldom achieved with a short mopping. Read more

The first time I used this steamer was in the bathroom, mainly on the shower glass and the side seam where scale is most likely to accumulate. After the water tank was heated, I installed a flat nozzle and moved it slowly along the edge of the glass. As soon as the mist was applied, the stubborn water stains began to loosen. After gently wiping it with a tissue, you can actually see the original transparent glass luster. After that, I tried to clean the small gaps around the drain. The steam softened the black spots in just a few seconds and it was clean with just one wipe. The tile joints, which are usually the most troublesome, saved a lot of effort this time. I used a fine nozzle to walk along the line, and the color of the ground immediately became brighter.
