Very nice mop pad
These mop pads are a great fit to the Seyola steam mop and are the exact same pads you receive if you order the mop. These mop pads are thick and look (and feel) like very good quality. The edges seem to be almost "serged" together to prevent them from unraveling, but doesn't look like this will happen. While mopping, the whole pad comes into contact with the floor which is what you want. There is no trouble with steam coming out from the mop pad when using the Seyola steam mop, which shows that both products were made to be used together, and work together very well. After mopping, the mop pad is damp, not wet (which I appreciate, as I don't want my hardwood floors to be damaged from using too much water), and I can see the dirt and gunk on the bottom of the mop pad. The pad dries a bit stiff, making it easy to determine which pad is clean and which pad is dirty. You are supposed to be able to wash them in the washing machine, but I have not yet done this so, unfortunately, I cannot comment on how well they are cleaned with the machine. I clean these in the bathtub with a cleaning brush. I add soap to the brush and wet the pad and scrub lightly. Cleaning this way works very well for me. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I will come back after a few months and update my review on how these mop pads have held up! I also wash one in the washing machine and report back on whether I will continue washing them by hand or in the washing machine. Read more
