These SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds have been a fantastic addition to my gaming setup! The quick-switch 2.4GHz + Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity makes it super easy to jump between Xbox, PC, PS5, Switch, and mobile without any hassle, I just switch modes and continue playing. The pairing process was quick and seamless every time. The active noise cancelling is surprisingly effective for earbuds and really helps when I’m trying to focus in noisy environments. The sound quality is clear and balanced with good depth for both games and music. I also appreciate the mobile app support because it lets me fine-tune EQ settings and customize controls to my liking. The battery life is excellent, I’m getting close to the advertised 40 hours with the Qi wireless charging case, which is super convenient. The case itself feels sturdy and life on the go is much easier because I can top up the battery without cords if I need to. I also love that they’re water resistant (IP55) perfect for workouts or rainy days, and they’ve held up great so far. Comfort is also top-notch; they stay in well during longer gaming sessions and the fit feels secure without being tight. Overall, these are high-quality gaming earbuds that combine excellent connectivity, great sound, long battery life, and convenience. Highly recommend for anyone who games across multiple platforms or just wants a reliable all-around set of earbuds. Read more

I have had these for about 7 months, and in that time I have had two instances where the case will not charge. It's happening right now as I write this. The support website for Steele Series is almost impossible to navigate, it took me so long to open a ticket using their automated "AI" system because my issue wasnt listed and it refused to connect me to an Agent. Once it did I was able to open a ticket but the charging function started working again on its own, so I didn't follow up on it. That was a bad idea because here I am now with the same issue. A factory reset does not resolve the problem and their support is impossible to reach. The sound quality is amazing, and there is no lag. But I wouldn't recommend them based on poor build quality and terrible support. Read more

These earbuds are comfortable and have good sound overall. (I don't use the SteelSeries software so they could quite likely be even better.) They can connect via bluetooth or the included dongle and switching between the modes is easy. I am able to have them connected to my PC via the dongle and my phone via bluetooth at the same time. While I am not able to use both devices simultanesouly (could be a me problem) if I receive a phone call while gaming it does play ring sound in the earbuds and I am able to switch / answer quickly. So it does have at least some sort of simultaneous connection to both. I do notice that if I am connected to my phone via bluetooth and I walk too far from my pc it will play the "disconnect" sound when it loses connection to the dongle which can be a bit confusing. I did have one of the earbuds fail. The left bud had sound but was much quieter than the right using both connection menthods and various devices. I tried updating the software, firmware and completely factory resetting them to no avail. I reached out the SteeleSeries and they replaced them for me. The process was quick and easy. They even had me provide pictures of the defective ones destroyed, which they do to ensure people aren't selling bad product privately which I appreciate. I have owned several SteelSeries over ear headphones as well and have been greatly impressed. The GameBuds were another great addition. Read more

Bought mine refurbished. Pros: -wireless 2.4 ghz function is the main reason you would want to buy these, and the dongle works pretty well for phone and PC. I don't experience any latency at all playing games on phone. -Sound quality of the buds is pretty high quality, in my opinion, better than apple airpodz pro and other buds in similar price range. The bass is superior to a lot of other earbuds. -ANC is comparable to my Sony wf-1000xm4, meaning better than the airpods pro and Samsung earbuds -The companion app is pretty easy to setup contrary to other reviews. Cons: -the buttons on the buds feel cheap and fragile. Pressing them feels like I might cause something to break. -the magnets suck. Serviceable, but they do not pass the shake test. -the case feels kind of hard to open. Seems like every other earbuds case I can open with one hand, but this specifically has a thin, lighter cap that makes it hard to open -transparency mode isn't the best, probably worse than apple airpods. Plan to update after few months of use. Read more

These are honestly hard to review. They are GREAT 85% of the time. I have experienced brief moment of warped audio and unexpected noises, but, while annoying, they don't tend to be super disruptive when they happen. I also sometimes have difficulty getting them to consistently charge when placed in the case, but make sure the indicator light flashes before you close the case and you should be fine - once they start charging, they don't stop, but getting them to start charging in the first place can be a bit tricky. Battery life is great for wireless earbuds, although I have had headsets that lasted much longer; they were bulky over-ear headsets though. Mic quality is not the best, but much better than expected for a built in mic so far away from the mouth. You may want to invest in a stand-alone mic if you do any kind of content creation or streaming, but the built in one is definitely sufficient for calls or in-game communication. While I don't think the price is great, I think they are currently worth it seeing as low-latency wireless earbuds with good sound quality are normally at least twice as expensive. An over-ear headset will likely give you more bang for your buck, but just something to consider. Read more
