I've been tearing my hair out trying to get my 15 year old picky eater dog to eat after there were some problems with her teeth. I had tried watering down her food with just water to make it easier for her to eat, but she stuck up her nose at it. But this came in clutch! When chilled in the fridge, it has the same consistency as gravy, and it mixes well with her food without adding any extra bad smells. She laps it all up! This bone broth turns my little dog’s breakfast and supper into a FEAST! He has always been a picky eater and a year or so ago we decided to start cooking all his food. Honestly, I wish I would have done it all his life (he is 15 now), but even though we cook his meals, when I started adding a teaspoon or two of the bone broth, he absolutely goes wild! He whines the entire time I’m warming up his food and adding his supplements and mixing in the broth. When I sit it down on his little table, he is finished eating before I have everything put away! No longer can he eat around his supplements and medication. He gobbles it all up.
