Great for my elderly mother
My mother is getting old but she still has good coordination. Recently she had been having problems getting in and out of her bed because of its height. We could either put the mattress right on the floor for her or get her something to step up to get into and out of bed. Since she has good coordination and balance we opted to purchase the Tafbrik Step Stool with Handle for Elderly for her and once I put it together she actually liked it. It has two steps and a railing that she can hold on to. Last week when I came home I found that she had used the two wheels on the side of it to pull it to the kitchen so she could reach one of the shelves in the kitchen cabinet. It's made of a welded steel frame and some parts have to be screwed together. It has two wheels that stick out the side so if you grab the railing and lay it to the side it'll roll on the wheels. The steps are not that far apart so she doesn't have any difficulty stepping up onto them. I like regular step stools having the railing on this one actually makes all the difference for safety.
