The only minor issue I ran into was with the protective plastic. I accidentally cut off the little tab while trimming the pad to size, which made it harder to peel off. I used these adhesive pads to attach a camera to a stand. I got it wrong the first time, but after reading the instructions carefully, they worked perfectly. Tip: Remove the yellow side first and stick it to your object, then wait a couple of hours for the glue to fully adhere before peeling off the red side. These pads are extremely strong, I don’t think I could remove the camera without applying heat to the pad and glue. They’re a good size, and the pack includes 4 pads, which is more than enough for most projects. I picked up these adhesive strips because I needed something strong to remount my dash cam after moving it from one car to another. I stuck the mount directly on my dashboard instead of the windshield, so I can’t speak on how well it would hold on glass. But on the dashboard it has been great so far. It has been installed for about a month and a half now. During that time we have had rain, frost, and a few random warm days as the weather shifts into fall and winter. My daily drive has plenty of bumpy roads and the dash cam has not budged at all. The adhesion feels solid and I have not noticed any peeling at the edges. I also like that they include the little primer wipes because it makes the install easier and gives you a bit more confidence that it will stick right the first time. One thing to keep in mind is that once you stick it, it is not easy to remove. That is good if you want something secure, but if you like to reposition your mount or move things around often, it might be a bit too sticky. For me it works perfectly because I just needed the dash cam to stay put. This adhesive is much better than what I used originally. It's also much better than other adhesives I've used before. My dashboard I mounted it on is not very textured, it's a in between of textured and smooth rubber material. My dash cam I mounted was also pretty heavy so this has impressed me quite a bit. It's been great adhesion so far. Overall these strips did exactly what I needed. They handled the changing temperatures, the bumps in the road, and the normal vibration inside the car.
