These tablets seem to work. I do wonder how much of the effectiveness is the shock factor of the spiciness! The habinero plus cinnamon is strong and was unexpected at first, but not unbearable. I've gotten used to the taste and they DO work so I'll definitely keep using. I get horrible leg cramps and other odd cramps in my hands, feet and other areas in the summer sometimes. I'd say in less than a minute these chewable tabs work. I take one for minor cramps, and 2 for bigger ones. Read more

Leg day at the gym or long days in the hot sun often result in night leg cramps for me. I've learned to sense when they are coming based on a weird sensation in my leg muscles that I believe folks call restless legs. I've learned to head off cramps before they start by attacking the symptoms as soon as I start feeling the restless legs. I have been using Hylands leg cramp tablets. They work, but they take about 15 - 20 minutes to take effect. ZapCramp also curbs my restless legs and prevents cramps, and it works much quicker than Hylands. However, I am not a fan of spicy foods and I find the taste and mouth sensation of ZapCramp too intense for my tastes. I'm sure spicy food lovers will have no problem, but spicy food wimps like me will probably find ZapCramp to be too intense. There is also the issue of price. ZapCramp is pretty expensive for six doses. I'll stick with the Hylands. It takes a little longer to work, but you get way more doses for the money. Read more
