This is a excellent shavette. It’s well made and uses solid rivets peened on both sides. Blade clasp is sturdy and tight. It has a nice feel in the hand and came with 5 high quality double edge blades easily split in the wrapper by folding it in half and snapping it. It uses pins, so it will align the blade perfectly. Wanted to try out straight razor shaving. Without any training on shaving with a straight razor, I’d say stick to the disposable or Gillette Mach 5. For the price….I’m out only $10. For the nostalgia of shaving old school…..it took me 10min do figure out the technique on how to hold this razor, correct angle, etc. So after about a week of trying not to slice my throat and lips, I actually got better at it and not bleed out. Let’s just say my days of shaving in the old days have passed and I’m back to my Harry’s razor. If you want to appreciate how your grandfather used to shave….try it out.
