This is a great stand. I actually did not order it for my purses. I have 5 dogs and ordered this to organize all their leashes, harnesss, collars, long leads, water jugs for walks, and treat pouches. I started with 2 chihuahuas whose harness/leash hung on little hooks on the wall, and a few years later I have added 3 Australian Shepherds, and to attempt to hang all their chaos on the wall would require quite a wall. So everything has been kind of unceremoniously dumped on the floor by the door, resulting in impatient dogs and a cranky dog mom. My dogs have a ton of stuff ranging from standard harnesses for walking, to school harnesses for training, a whole slew of varying types of leashes and leads, different collars for different scenarios...hot mess. I have looked on Amazon countless time for dog leash organizing items and all you can find are the standard 3-5 hook wall mounted things. Do not even know HOW I stumbled on this item and realized immediately it would be the perfect dog gear stand. I will try to get a photo uploaded when I manage to finish transferring all their gear to it, but so far I am beyond pleased with how well the organizing is going with this. I am debating a 2nd stand at this point just so I can avoid overcrowding leashes, however the price feels a little high for this purpose. I think if you are looking for a purse rack and have purses resembling what you see in the photo, you will be quite happy with this unit. It is sturdy, seems very solid, is a good height, and has adjustable feet to keep it level. I also think if you are like me with several dogs and a boatload of dogs gear, you will positively love this unit for keeping your canine accessories tidy, organized, and easily accessible without putting a ton of holes in your walls. Sure, you could chuck it all in bins, but I am over digging for training harnesses and varying length corresponding leashes for that day's activities.
