After reading some of the negative 1-2 star comments I was very iffy b4 receiving this item in the mail! The box was wrapped and box good so that the actual item box was not damaged in shipping. The shaver was clean and had a very nice luxury look to it in the gold and black color. The battery was completely charged up right out the box. So, I'm not a barber, I'm just a guy who likes foil razors to daily shave my face. And when I was researching all the different models to find, I was clearly in the minority. First time I used it, I was not impressed. I had previously used the Wahl Vanish, which I liked a lot and was half the price of this, and when one of my kids destroyed it in the water, I bought the cheap Walmart Wahl shaver, and for $40 bucks it did great. This this is without a doubt more powerful that those two, but it also pulls my facial hair at least once during every shave, and it's not fantastic at getting my neck hairs - even with only one or two days of growth. For the price point, and all of the videos from barbers that I watched on Youtube before buying this thing, I just expected it to be amazing, and it's just not that great. I might still return it, I haven't decided yet. Things I like are the metal case, the charging docking station, and the foil cap is good quality. TRUE PROFESSIONAL QUALITY…… I am a barber who has tested different brands and so far the style craft always out preforms the rest… I had the rebel before this one and it lasted me for a few years of constant use ..
