These are an absolute lifesaver for me. I was previously using 5% lidocaine patches prescribed by my doctor, but the process of getting them was such a hassle. When I discovered these, it was a total game-changer. Honestly, I can’t tell much of a difference between the prescription strength patches and this brand. I use them on my shoulder and am able to apply them myself without any issues. About 95% of the time, they stay in place once applied, though occasionally one may shift slightly. These are the best Lidocaine patches I've found. They stay put, don't roll up on the corners or ends & relieve nerve & arthritic pain. They're cool, when you first put them on, then take on your body heat. Depending on what size you want, you can cut them for a smaller area. Uncut, they cover half your back. People ask if they smell; I only smell a minimal gauze smel, nothing else & no one around you can smell them. I've had good relief for up to 12 hrs, so they last. My only complaint, why I give it 4/5, is, when you take them off, you have sticky, gel residue, like little balls of gel. It does wash off easy, though. These patches work fairly well for the pain but they tend to roll on the edges and stick to my clothing. Also, when I remove them there is usually some adhesive residue on my skin. I'll probably try another brand next time. The stiffer patches stay on better and are less hassle but the wetter ones seem like the lidocaine absorbs better through the skin. I'd love it if someone tried to make a patch that's a little "wetter" but sticks better. Read more
