Soft and bright red sweater vest for layering and colder seasons. There are three large and flat buttons which I find rather odd. The style is too wide and boxy. This style is very "in" right now and I'm so excited to wear this piece all fall. It is well made and pretty thick, well worth the price. I think it runs a little big - I typically wear a large and I'm glad I ordered the medium because it fits pretty boxy/baggy. The large gold buttons are a nice statement piece and I've already gotten quite a few compliments on it - some even asking if I crocheted it myself. Overall it’s a cute top but it’s short. I’m 5ft 7in with a regular size torso and it fits but is a crop top basically when I thought it would be longer. It’s great for a night out and to wear with a pair of high waisted jeans. It’s a nice material and is good quality overall. Highly recommend it and it’s a good price! Read more

Nice little vest. The fabric is soft, tho I much prefer cotton. It’s attractive to wear and hangs nicely. The buttons are a polished, gold colored metal, so are heftier than I’d expected. Not sure how well the button holes will last/wear over time. What I don’t like about it is the washing directions. Washer fine, but no dryer! I am pretty careful about checking washing instructions before purchasing anything that needs to be washed, not sure how I missed this one…so we’ll see. I haven’t washed it yet, and at some point, I am likely to find out what happens in a cool dryer. I wear a medium or large, depending on the cut and fit, and am very happy in a medium with this vest. It fits comfortably whether buttoned or worn open UPDATE: I had to reduce this vest from 4 stars to 2. After the first blush of loving the look wore off, and I washed it following directions, one of the arm holes started unraveling, as you can see in the second picture. In looking at it very closely, it just isn’t very well made. I was already concerned about the button holes holding up, and this result from one careful washing says that concern was on the money. Speaking of money, I can’t recommend you spend yours on this, unless you don’t mind hand washing, which is probably the only way it will hold up at all. Read more

This piece is wonderful for layering and versatile too - I can wear it with jeans as well as to events and work.... It's a great chunky knit and I love that it's cropped a bit, but not too much.. It's a fun piece to layer - over long sleeve tees or dressy tops as well as over a t-shirt dress or tank dress - this vest adds some unique flair. I'm not a big fan of the metal buttons though, they seem to weigh the knit down and I worry they'll pull so I may replace them with something lighter - maybe something in wood or plastic... I'll also be sure to hand wash this piece too - it doesn't look like it's made for a machine and I wouldn't want to mess up this pretty knit. Read more
