Summer Infant Step Up Seat and Stepstool for Potty Training and Beyond Easy to Empty and Clean Space

I watch my grandson five days a week. I had purchased a potty for him a while back, but there was a minuscule gap between the seat and the slide out "pot" part. That was enough for urine to end up under the potty on the floor every time. I researched potties and read tons of reviews. Not many seemed really good for boys who are still working on their aim! I decided on this one because the potty part is one piece of molded plastic integrating the seat, the "pot", and the shield. It lifts out for easy cleaning. We are extremely happy with this potty. My grandson seems comfortable, and has not complained about it in any way. There are no areas for leaks. The shield is big enough and smooth, so effective in directing the urine stream into the potty. Though, I do always remind my grandson to make sure he is pointing down. Pretty good product, but I wish the urine shield were higher and maybe made of something flexible so as not to cause injury and also to be able to fold down to accommodate the lid folding down. It's lightweight and makes a pretty good step stool for brushing teeth, etc. Read more
