I picked this up after getting a pretty bad sunburn, and it worked wonders. My skin is very sensitive, so I’m always nervous about what I use, but this was incredibly gentle and soothing. It instantly cooled the burn and took away a lot of the redness and discomfort. What I love most is that it doesn’t sting or irritate like other after-sun products I’ve tried. Instead, it feels calming and hydrating, and my skin actually started to heal faster. If you deal with sensitive skin and need reliable sunburn relief, this product is truly amazing! Read more

This Sunburnt After Sun Body Wash saved me on a recent tropical vacation. Despite reapplying my sunscreen multiple times a day, the constant swimming washed it off. So of course my back, arms, and shoulders ended up a little burnt. This soothed the burn, and I think helped it heal faster, all while cleaning my skin. Regular shower gel and soaps can irritate my sunburns, so this was a great alternative. It lathered well, left my skin feeling clean but not too dry, and was very calming. It didn't leak in my suitcase, it smells nice but subtle, and it made my skin physically feel less irritated. I would definitely order this again, and will be taking it on all my warm weather vacations in the future. Read more

The Sunburnt After Body Wash is really really good! I've started to take more care of my skin and so I'm being more cognizant of my exposure to the Sun. Because of that, I was really excited to try the after sun body wash because I felt that we really should be using products that help maintain moisture in our skin. And in addition to sunscreen, what about the cleaners that we use? I found that the after sun body wash really is cooling, which is really important to me as I tend to run hot. But moreover, it does serve to do a good job in providing a crisp scent as well as moisturizing and cooling sensations on the skin. In terms of value for the money, I wish it was a few bucks cheaper but I do have to say that it performs really well. I like that the amount of body wash that you have to use is not as much as some other varieties that I've tried. Therefore, you can actually stretch your product a little bit longer than one would expect. Another thing that I should mention is that I only use this after some meaningful sun exposure. I'm treating it almost like a specialty product so that way I can make it last longer. But also I get more of the benefits after I am out in the sun. It also does a good job of getting rid of the sticky or tacky feeling that some sunscreens leave on you. So after you're out in the sun definitely use use Sunburnt to not only moisturize your skin but to get rid of the remaining sunscreen, as well. Read more

I don't have sensitive skin by any means, so usually I just go for the harsh but strong cleaners. I do however have skin that seems like it'd burn under a 30 watt lightbulb. Even my skin gets a little sensitive once the top layer is burnt off. I normally slather the area in moisturizers and just deal with the fact that it's going to be (to use a term many hate) moist for a while. I don't scrub hard or do more than lightly let soapy water flow over it usually. But since this is wash made for sunburn, I risked applying it directly, even though soap can be drying and irritating. No irritation, no drying, no problems! It was a little bit soothing. Not like a direct cooling lotion, but it offset any irritation from a hot shower. But for me the main point was that I could safely clean burnt areas now, it actually felt clean afterwards, enough that I didn't mind letting the area breathe for a few hours post-shower before applying moisturizer. I imagine if you use this after a day where you can feel the sunburn forming but before you have the actual skin injury it might help stave off the worst developments as well, as it will let you keep the now delicate area clean. This body wash is formulated to give cooling relief after over exposure in sun. I live in the south with lots of sun. I first used this product after clipping shrubs. I had worn sun screen and had no burn but my skin felt dry and scratchy. The body wash contains some natural ingredients and has a scent to it. I am neutral regarding the scent, not something I would purchase for the scent but also not a reason not to use the product. The scent does not linger after shower either. I did not get an actual cooling effect but the body wash was gentle on my skin and I felt it got rid of the dry itchiness I was experiencing prior to use. It is a good product and with it packaged in a tube it is perfect to travel with. Read more

I liked this after-sun body wash for calming down warm, sun-touched skin. The cooling effect feels refreshing, and the formula is gentle with no sulfates or parabens. It hydrates lightly thanks to the hyaluronic acid, though it’s not as moisturizing as a dedicated after-sun lotion or gel. Still, it’s a nice soothing cleanser to use after a day in the sun. This body wash cleanses well without drying out my skin or making any irritation worse. It does not feel particularly cooling to me, and the watermelon candy scent is not my favorite. Someone else in my house who tried it loved the scent though, so it just seems to be a matter of preference rather than anything bad. ✅ Pros • Cleanses effectively without overdrying • Gentle enough that it did not aggravate my irritated skin ❌ Cons • Does not feel noticeably cooling • Watermelon candy scent that may not appeal to everyone Overall, this is a gentle after sun body wash that prioritizes mild cleansing and hydration more than a cooling sensation. -Review of Sunburnt "Sunburnt After Sun Body Wash – Cooling Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid, Calendula, Echinacea & Cucumber – Soothes Sunburn, Hydrates & Calms Skin – Sulfate & Paraben Free, 6 oz" Read more
