I just installed these Sunco LED outdoor solar lights, so I can’t speak to long-term durability yet, but my first impression is extremely positive. The brightness is exactly what I was looking for — the lumen output provides great illumination without being harsh or overpowering. I have them on 4000k setting in these photos but my other lights/phone camera are making them appear a lot more yellow than they actually are in person. They are the perfect day time light color and I now plan to switch the rest of my outdoor lighting to match these. They also appear to be very well made and sturdy right out of the box, and installation was quick and straightforward. For the quality, I feel the price is very reasonable. These are VERY VERY nice they look cool on your lawn there is a button to select the kind of light you want glad i found them. One thing when I was putting them together the instructions said to push the button to make sure it works well the light didn't come on so i just took a little screwdriver and took it apart where the battery goes and I just pushed the little spring and it came on so it just needed an adjustment but it works great. I'll give these 4 stars. They're solar lights, and work as such. I like that you can adjust the different light types and brightness. Super easy to set up and install. The battery life is about 12-14 hours, depending on the charge from sunlight. On a rainy day, you might charge up enough for 5-8 hours of use overnight. They're bright enough to light up a small pathway, with a light diameter of about 3.5 feet. Quality is where it lost a star. The solar panel on the top has a plastic layer that has peeled off within 6 months. The plastic needs to be slightly thicker on the spike to prevent breakage on the shaft. Overall, not bad. Look good, easy to select mode. The included stakes are beefy, along with the riser tubes. Surprisingly good quality, they look more expensive relative to their cost. Be aware these lights use 3.7V batteries, even though a 1.5v AA will fit. The lights do nothing with a standard 1.5v AA battery. Duration is good even in cold weather. So far 1 out of 24 lights has any issues. That one light pretty much does not have any differences between the bright and dim settings. These things survived winter and are working better than ever. From a look perspective these were exactly what I was looking for. From a style, height, perceived build quality and even light and color output, these were it. I still look at them and love the aesthetic. But then they come on, or should I say, turn off. After a couple weeks of hoping for change, these lights are useless for prolonged use. Not sure if it is the 600mah battery or the charging capabilities of the units, but out of the 18 I bought and installed, none last longer than 3-4 hours. By 8-9pm they are dead and provide no light function and just become black posts in the ground. At about $60 a box and buying 3 of them, they were definitely not worth the money in hindsight. My only hope to fix or prolong the light life now is to spend MORE money and upgrade the 600mah 18500 battery to a larger capacity and hope that over $200 in solar lighting and 3rd party batteries gets me close to my expectation. I have unfortunately had solar lights that looked way cheaper and smaller, but lasted well into the early morning, so I am definitely bummed these didn’t perform as hoped. I like that you can adjust the color and the output. I have mine set on the warm setting on the higher output. They seem to put out as much light as my wired in landscape lights I have in the front yard. I am very happy with these. Update, I added 2 more photos. These lights have 2 settings for each color temp. I have them on high in the warm. The one on the left is the same light output on high as the others on low. They are sending replacements so I will see if that fixes the issue. Update 2 weeks and the one that was dim compared to the others in now not working at all. Still waiting on replacements. Read more
