At first glance these fixtures seem sturdy, well built, and meant to last. At night they provide a suitable lumen output that is pleasant, and being able to select from three color temperatures is always a plus. The solar cells and battery components are able to keep the lights operational for one night, generally. In our climate, these lights run every night. However, after less than 3 months of ownership during a rainy season, I noticed one or two of the six lights had water collecting in the lens/housing. This is not good. Now, about 10 months in, one of the six fixtures no longer works. I'm not sure if it's a solar, battery, LED, LED driver problem, or all of the above. I've contacted Sunco warranty claims and am hoping they'll provide a replacement under their 2-year warranty program. Read more
