Easy to install, pair of 6 Inch Flat Retrofit LED lights. The housing for these lights are compact and lightweight, making it an easy recess lighting replacement. The five options for color temp are great to match with other lights and ambiance. The metal hangar clips could be more sturdy if it would snap into place but overall it still functions. Read more

I ordered this set of two LED lights to retrofit two old recessed canned lights. The installation process is quick and easy. First you attach the mounting spring arms to the lights by sliding them into the appropriate slots, next remove the bulb and trim ring from your ceiling can lights, screw the new socket adapter in place, then it is simply a matter of sliding the spring arms on to the tabs of the can fixture and pushing the light up to the ceiling. The entire process is very easy and only takes a minute or two. Once installed, the diffuser lens is not recessed and is effectively parallel with the ceiling, which provides a wider light spread than the recessed floodlight bulbs this replaced, at the cost of a bit more overhead glare. Another benefit to these lights is they effectively seal the hole in the ceiling, which helps conserve energy and eliminates dust, bugs and spider access to the interior of the can fixture. These lights are very bright, that coupled with the wider coverage area, provided a notable improvement over the old can lights. They are also very efficient, 1200 Lumens from just 15 watts is pretty impressive. The lights are bright enough a dimmer on the circuit may be beneficial. The lights offer five different color settings allowing you to match them to your preferred color balance. I really appreciate this option, as I prefer a whiter light than the 2700K a standard incandescent bulb provides. I find the 4000K setting to be perfect for our kitchen. It is a bit warmer than “daylight” but not as yellow as a 2700K or 3000K bulb. The lights I received exhibited no flicker, buzzing or hum. This is a great replacement recessed lighting and makes life easy for the replacement of the old incandescent recessed lights with new LED technology. Installation is incredibly easy as the old bulb has to be simple removed and this one screed into it and using the tension hooks install simply into the old recessed light well - it takes less than a couple of minutes for the entire process. The lights are incredibly versatile as the warmth of the light can be changed into predesignated setting into almost any light warmth desired (either to match the old lights that remain or just your own aesthetic preference). I ordered this 1200 lumen 2-pack LED recessed light set, along with an additional 10-pack from Sunco, to replace my old 600 lumen LED lights. While I can’t confirm if the lumen output has exactly doubled, the brightness difference is instantly noticeable! My kitchen is now much brighter, making food prep and cooking more enjoyable. The dimmable feature is a must, it’s nice to adjust the lights when full brightness isn’t needed. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the performance and brightness of these lights.
