I'm prescribed Vitamin D3 and always looking for possible ways to save money while also making sure I get an effective supplement. This is a bottle of 400 IU Vitamin D3. The bottle includes 60 vegetarian tablets. These tablets are free of gluten, wheat, yeast, milk, lactose, soy, artificial color, flavor, sweetener & preservatives. These are small tablets that are easy to swallow. They have no discernible flavor. They are described as "one-a-day" tablets, however, that may change depending on your needed or prescribed dose. If taken as indicated, this would be a 2-month supply. It's noted that these are laboratory tested. They are manufactured in the U.S. It's always hard to tell effectiveness with supplements, however, these seem to be working for me the way my previous Vitamin D3 brand worked. So, that makes me happy. I would consider these to be affordable and effective. I've been exploring Sundance Vitamins and they do carry different ones and higher dose Vitamin D3 for those who need it. While there's not a lot of razzle-dazzle here, I'm happy with these and they seem to do what they're supposed to do and they are able to do it affordably. That's a win-win and I definitely recommend. Pretty standard vitamin D supplement. As is with most supplements, you have to take them for a while to notice anything if anything... But I don't have any complaints about the product besides it being on the lower dose- if you have vitamin D deficiency your doctor would probably recommend taking a higher dose as this one is only 400 IU. The supplement doesn't have a strange after taste/smell. Read more
This D3 supplement works well, if you are trying to take a small dose of D3. I haven’t really felt much of a difference after taking these, but they are small and easy to swallow. When I got the bottle, I was concerned that there are actually 60 vitamins in here because it was so lightweight. I opened it up and a puff of white powder came out and there are these little tiny tiny white pills in there. There are 60 but they literally only come up to about an eighth of the bottle. The bottle is huge and there’s a big cotton ball stuffed inside. These pills are so tiny. They are very easily swallowed. They don’t have any flavor to them at all. Read more
This bottle comes with 60 small tablets that are very easy to swallow. They each contain 10 mcg of vitamin D3, which is 50% of the daily recommended value. So these are smaller doses that other vitamin D3 supplements I've purchased, but I do like this amount and size. My only real issue with these is the oversized bottle. The pills don't even cover the bottom of this bottle, which could have easily fit 1000 of these pills. It contains exactly what it says, but the excess size is just annoying. Read more
So as other reviews have said, these aren't high dosage. But for me that's okay. I like supplements to be actually supplemental. If you NEED more though because of deficiencies, you need to be aware of how much your body actually needs. I feel like this is pretty up front about the size and amount, it's just on the individual to actually be aware of how much of a supplement they should taking. Read more
