I never knew these things existed until I was watching a YouTube video. I'm starting pull-ups again after a billion years and need a boost until I gain some more strength. These bands are the motivator! They each come in their own ziptop bag and when you pull them out you'll see they are banded on each end to keep them in place. Once you unband them, they pop out into the big rubber band shape you'd expect. They are exercise bands, and very purpose-built for the job. For pullup assistance you can wrap them around the pullup bar and put your foot or knee in them. The different bands have different resistance levels. Pick the one you need for the job. Note that they are resisting your efforts to stretch them, which you'd expect. I mention that because I have to pull the band pretty hard to get my knee into it. Eventually I figured an easiest way to keep it stretched to the right length and get my knee in it. I'm just staring on pullups after a long time so need the highest resistance band. Once I get stronger I can move to lower resistance levels and those should stretch further... eventually I'll get my foot in there! The instruction book shows all the exercises you can do, and there are a lot. One thing - the bands smell sort of rubbery. I can handle that but prefer not to store them without re-bagging them each day so the room doesn't have that slight odor. You simply fold the band and put the small rubber bands over each end and put it in its bag. I was skeptical about these but am won over now. Good deal. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've had these bands since 2022 and haven't written a review and felt like it was time I should. I cant recommend them more..they are so fantastic and have helped me progress and get stronger doing so ma y body weight exercises. The bands helped me.get stronger to do pullups and chinups on my own, pushups and now working on doing L-sits and handstand. I use them pretty much every day and they are so strong and durable. I use them indoors, outdoors, on rings, on trees, pretty much anywhere and they are so reliable and help me get in a good all over body workout. I can't recommend them more Read more

So I bought these with the hopes to do a host of things with, but these are not the bands for that. If you want versatile bands, purchase resistance TUBES. They will provide with resistance, flexibility and versatility. These bands have so much resistance that using them for anything else besides pull ups is tough. The blue and green bands are the most versatile in my opinion as I can do other things with them since they have a little more give, but the larger bands are not going to be of much use to you outside of pull ups. Moves like lat presses or triceps extensions--moves that require the band to give a little bit, even with resistance, aren't doable with these bands in my experimenting with them. The bands are just too thick and taut. I was looking for something with a little more give like the resistance TUBES provide, as those are much more versatile, but not as strong as resistance bands are. You can do rows with these, I havent tried pull ups with the thicker bands but, im sure they are great for pull ups because these bands are so thick. I have really just been using the blue and orange bands for rows really. They just do not have enough give to do much else, for me anyway. May vary for others. Good quality bands though, but tough and probably more useful for pull ups and little else. Read more

For those of you looking to buy resistance bands, read this. Not all bands are created equal. They may say 100% latex rubber but they're not. I bought a set of bands from Thinefit a couple of years ago and they are great. One band eventually wore out and broke and I needed to buy a replacement. Thinefit is no longer available so I tried two other brands before settling on SUNPOW. I tried Zacro and Fitense both claiming they were 100% later or 100% rubber. Their formulas are not either, they feel more like silicone based rubber. Both had poor elasticity and rebound. When I stretched one band out it felt like it was going to snap instead of stretch. Almost like a dry rubber band. And on the rebound both did not have that snappy return. SUNPOW bands are true 100% latex with great resistance, elasticity and a snappy rebound. I'm not sure of other brands on Amazon but definite buy SUNPOW if you are considering Zacro or Fitense. Hope this helps with your decision. Read more
