I hate to say it but these are exceptionally firm and thin and uncomfortable. As someone who recently flared up my hip very badly at a sound bath because my thicker, softer mat wasn’t enough padding, I found that while testing these mats at home, lying on a Sunshine mat felt firmer and much harder than the rug I had underneath it. So it actually made the surface less comfortable! I can’t imagine doing yoga or a meditation with this mat on a wood floor! They are good value for money but are not soft enough for me! I really like these mats — the color is beautiful, the thickness is comfortable, and the non-slip texture works well. Perfect for yoga or stretching, and they stay flat on the floor. These yoga mats (I ordered the four pack) far exceeded my expectations. The color is as pictured and they can be used on both sides. The quality of the mats is great - they provide just the right amount of cushion without being too thick or too thin. I really like the nonslip functionality, as it helps me to feel more confident in each pose without the worry of my hands or feet sliding. Additionally, there is no need to place a slip resistant towel on the mat. Shipping was speedy and the mats arrived within two days of ordering them.
