I chose this to use for walking runway for my aging dog. Her paws no longer have traction on the flooring, and her hips/shoulders are getting weaker. My dog has IVDD. It's important that he doesn't slip on my laminate flooring. This stuff is the answer! It slides VERY LITTLE. I need to push it over a pinch every few days but it basically stays put. It's cost effective. Thick enough that there's a padded feel and super easy to sweep, vacuum and wipe down. The project is “Cushioning for Church Pew Hymnal Racks. I need to PERFECTLY cut a few hundred 2” by 29” strips to fit the racks. Requirements: Sturdy, silent, cost reasonable, EASY to cut. Used a cutting plank, razor knife, cut resistant gloves and a dry wall T-square. Met all requirements and cuts SOOOO SUPER SMOOTH like a … well… hot knife through butter! I have a 13 1/2 year old dog who was suffering from balance issues, and walking on Hardwood floors had her struggling.
