I have a really precious sweet young dog that had an amputation before we got him. Our wood floors are beautiful but slippery. I was so happy when I found this super-cook yoga mat ROLL! I selected a color to blend with the floor and then just rolled it out through the whole hallway. It's helping hi so much! And it turns out that it's helping other members of the household too! I, like others, have a senior dog needing traction... a rather large one. I prefer not to have a haphazard arrangement of yoga mats strewn around the house, so this cuttable roll is great. It's easy to cut with kitchen scissors. Draw a line first to follow or you'll have a wonky edge, and cut the edge first to a straight line before starting. The grid on the material is not straight so, If you're picky (which I clearly am), don't follow it. I bought this for the kitchen and infill zones, for easier cleaning, as well as Hook and Loom cotton runners, as they are machine washable, but they need a rug pad. (I got Grip-It Rug Stop Natural Low-Profile Non-Slip Rug Pad as it is natural.) If I could get this material in 30" width, that would be even better, but it still works very well. Perfect thickness. This mat was my last option to try for my senior dog who has splaying in her back legs. I first tried runners all through the house which worked at first, but then the splaying got worse and she couldn't walk on the runners or the carpet. I tried socks, shoes, paw wax, paw pad protectors, and toe grips. Either they didn't work or they worked temporarily. So I decided to give the yoga mats a try and low and behold she can maneuver around as long as she stays on the mats. It keeps her legs together so she can get up and then walk around. I am sure that she is glad that she doesn't have to wear socks on her feet either. I'm just thankful that she has some mobility again! Wish that I would have tried the mats first. Read more

Great value for money. I got this to put over my hardwood floors while my dog's leg healed so she doesn't slip. They cut easy as stair treads and don't move when walked on. I like how it's a thinner mat so you don't trip on it. I did buy another roll. Read more

Someone recommended this for my dog! The dog has significantly injured his back and is under treatment but my hard flooring is not good for him because he loses traction, which can make his problem even worse. So, I cut long lengths of the roll and placed them around the house. This might not be the intended purposes but it sure is helpful. Read more
