I bought this product on 10/7/2025 but was unable to use it immediately. Shortly after the purchase, a tornado hit our home in Texas, just a week before Thanksgiving. Between the mess and the missing roof, siding, and windows, I wasn't able to test this roaster until a few weeks ago. On the first run, I was super excited about its searing abilities; the temperatures got high enough to sear and then lowered perfectly to braise meats. However, during the third use—while making leeks and chicken in a wine sauce—the power simply cut out. I unplugged it, waited an hour, and tried again while moving my meal to a Dutch oven to finish. I even waited 10 hours, and then 24 hours, to retry it, but the device is completely broken. It’s going to the curb Monday morning. I can’t believe a device that seemed so superior on the first two tries just 'zonked out.' It was a total waste of money. Since I took so long to 'test drive' it due to the storm, I have no recourse. This thing is pretty huge! We almost need a smaller one for the smaller meals but this one can handle what ya put in it. Seems durable, cleans easily and has a lot of cooking choices. If there is a negative, the size needed to store it would be my only negative comment. Read more

This item was purchased to do slow cooker recipes but I was pleased to see this item will also roast, bake, etc. I have used it once so far to bake stuffed peppers and it worked fine. I just have to figure out how to set the features and timers for what I am cooking. Read more

I was unable to use this because the wording on. The words on the control panel are soo small that I cant see it. Even up close. Yes I have eye issues. But a friend also had trouble seeing clearly.its a shame because the is a beautiful cooker. It's also quite large at 8 qts. For large family it should be great sz. However I did cook a rack of ribs for 8 hrs on low, but they were not done. Moved them to my instant pot to finish. Read more
