High Quality Solar Lights Are Too Small for My Needs
This story is about CAVEAT EMPTOR! The solar lights are of high quality. On that basis I'll give them 5 stars. But I've given myself an F falling for the pitch! Based on the great reviews, I went overboard and ordered 36 solar lights (six boxes with six lights in each box). I had reviewed the specifications and read the one-star reviews. I was aware they were on the small side, but I was not prepared to discover how small they actually are! The lantern is only 3"x3"x3"! The post is only 6.25" long! I didn't have the heart to send them all back. I kept 12 of them to put on my dock posts where the smaller ones are adequate. The existing ones in my yard are almost three times as big. I'm going to procure matching big lanterns for the yard. The other 24 lights were returned for a refund. That process was straightforward. I fell for the pitch in spite of having done due diligence. If I'd paid more attention to the facts and been less influenced by the sizzle I would have realized these lights were not for me. Read more
