I used this to remove about 6 dings and it made all of them much less than they were to start. the standard door swipe creates a ding with a vertical center and depression around it. this kit does not have a long and narrow glue end to pull this dent out how it should be. it is ineffective to pull with a round or square pad with the shape of the ding. it would be great to have a long (1-1.5") and narrow to place within the ding and pull it out more effectively. the three types of glue sticks is great Read more

While I agree with other reviewers that this paintless dent repair kit (aka PDR) has a lot of parts and gizmos, I found it to be extremely frustrating to use. The glue gun takes about 10 minutes to heat up and then constantly spews small bits of glue out so you have to be careful where you set it down. The included LED board does not have a battery or one that is built in so you have to use an extension cord and USB power transformer to power it. I am not sure what size the battery for it is but it is longer than a AA battery. I gave up on it. The other parts are decent but what was most painful was the lack of any sort of grip on most of the dent puller parts. The rounded ones flat out would not stick and I had better luck with the perforated ones and even then guess what? Not one single hail damage spot came out. I sure had fun making lots of small little glue coins but that was about it. The bridger puller had the same issue as mentioned above not enough notches/perferation to get a good hold on the glue. I really wanted to like this kit and I even sprung for some high quality "root beer" glue in the hopes that it was a problem with the glue but I just don't think this kit is high enough quality to recommend. *Super PDR Paintless Dent Repair Kit 148PCS Dent Puller Kit with LED Light Board* ****EDIT - I am changing my rating a bit to 3 1/2 stars because the seller contacted me and offered (and gave me) a full refund for my entire purchase, as well as offering me a replacement light board with a battery. Top notch customer service in my opinion!**** I bought this a few days ago and used it yesterday. Here are my thoughts/complaints. First and foremost, my biggest complaint is that the light board takes some kind of special rechargeable battery, and they don't send one with the kit!...lol. EVEN THOUGH, if you watch the vids on it, they show the battery being put in. Few things irritate me more than false advertising, or failing to disclose pertinent details of the product and what's included. AND, the only way to plug in the light to actually use it is by USB. And you guessed it, unless your car is parked right next to some sort of USB outlet, the light utterly useless, unless you have a special USB adapter that is not included either. Also, the light doesn't offer much articulation, which makes things a bit more difficult as well. The rest of the items seem to work well. If I REALLY cleaned the area, AND the pulling tips, with 91% rubbing alcohol and a couple different clean rags that didn't have fabric softener on them from being washed, I had very little problems with the glue not sticking. In fact, most of the time, it stuck too good for me and was very difficult to get off. Also, I'm an above average mechanical person, and have detailed cars for decades as well, but if you think you're gonna just buy this kit and pull dents out and have it look perfect (or even really good) immediately, you will be wrong. I learned yesterday there is very much an art to this, and learning the metal rigidity of your vehicle takes several tries to understand how hard to pull, as well as what size/shape tips to use, and placement and such. Pulling too hard results in the dent looking worse than when you started. Would I guy it again? No. Not because I'm not an instant PDR pro (I actually enjoyed the learning process and challenge), but because, for me, it's very difficult to use without the battery. Read more

I purchased this kit to repair a minor fender bender on the front corner panel of my 2011 Honda Pilot. Someone sideswiped us. I wanted to remove the dents and make the panel look a little nicer. The kit has so many tools and a convenient carry bag. The quality of the tools is solid for light body work and dent pulling. I am sure more money could be spent on higher quality but this kit served me well. There are some instructions that explain how to use the tools. Overall, I am pleased with the product and thankful to have these tools. I can use them again for further repairs. Read more
