These are a hair shorter than the standard ones because part of the top is the handles. But it's worth it, as they make it so much easier to get a packed bag out of the bucket. We tend to cram ours full before taking them out to the bin. These also hold up well in the bucket. I try to tear them up when I dump them out into the spinner, but the jury is still out as to how well they'll compost. They seem a bit sturdy which doesn't bode well for dissolving into the soil. I like these bags, for me for a single person. I don't have a lot of trash so the price averages out. And I wanted to be sustainable. It has held all my trash, so no issue with that whatsoever. It functions just like a regular trash bag, yet you're being sustainable and know that you're doing something good for our planet. There's no scent to it as far as I can tell. It's a good bag.
