There wasn't much information about this book on Amazon, so I purchased it a bit blindly, trying to use my son's superhero obsession to get us through the challenges of potty training. (I purchased it with the books, Super Friends Potty Time Power and Super Pooper!, which are also great). Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by the books many cute tabs/ interactive features. The Superhero runs to the bathroom -- so your kid has to open the door; the superhero has to go potty -- so your kid has to lower his underwear with a pull tab; the superhero needs toilet paper -- so your kid has to pull down the toilet paper tab; the superhero has to flush -- so your kid has to push the flush tab; the superhero has to wash his hands -- so your kid has to pull down the water tab in the sink; and then ends with a superhero dance and "go, superhero, go!" My favorite line is that a superhero "never pees on his cape." So true. Cute and worth it for what we needed. Read more

In preparation for potty training we purchased four different potty training books for my 32 month old son. This so far has been his favorite. I guess the genius is its simplicity and the fact that he can interact with it. Each page has a pull tab or door to open. He loves the page where it talks about pulling down his underwear and then he can pull the underwear down with the pull tab (apparently this is hilarious). Also there is a page where you lift up the lid of the toilet and there is pee inside (good job superhero) and with another tab he can "flush" it. He opens the book just for this page and flushes again and again. Has this done much to teach him? Probably not, but it has been an incredible help in getting him excited and interested in the potty. We are planning on getting him a cape for potty time so that he can be like a superhero on the potty. I've noticed that many potty training books are focused on the little potty that is just for kids. My son has no interest in that, but a great interest in the big potty. I appreciate that this book uses the big potty. Read more

Very cute. The book pages are sturdy and the flaps, but the pull tabs probably won't hold up long. Read more

Both my toddler and I really liked this book! It was his favorite of the 2 other we bought (Everybody Potties and No more diapers for ducky) My son loves interactive books so I’m not surprised it was his favorite. I really like the steps it teaches on going to the pottty, like pulling undies down, using toilet paper, flushing and washing hands. The pull flaps are super cute HOWEVER, they are not good quality!:( They are thin and hard to pull and I can see they will easily rip since my son is pretty rough with his books. I would love to see this book remade to be thicker and more sturdy because it’s a super cute book! Read more

I have about 7 potty books (I just keep buying them).... this book is exactly what I was looking for. It’s simple and focuses on what happens when you potty. Showing the pee pee in the potty was very important and he loved flushing the pee away. While this book obviously didn’t potty train my kid he’s more interested. There isn’t a book out there that’s like this. The interactive parts and simplicity are perfect. I like that it shows a REAL potty. Many books show a potty chair but that’s hard because allmpotty chairs look different. Read more

My Early Head Start kids love this book! I read “Super Hero Potty Time” to my Toddler class and I explained in my own words the importance of using the potty 🚽 and then shortly after we had finished reading the book, all of my 2 year olds wanted to sit on the toilet and wear pull ups! Lol... They love the pictures in the book and the pull/flaps while reading the story! Read more

My daughter has loved this book since we did "princess potty day" but I was a bit dismayed when the copy we purchased had so many pieces that were broken. I knew ahead of time it was a used copy but I didn't think it would be in the condition it is. . . I suppose it is a note to check and recheck the status of the item prior to purchase. Read more

My sons have read this book over and over as they've potty trained. It has pull tabs and such that make it exciting and the super hero theme is great. A definite hit in our household! Read more
