These are amazingly heavy sheets. They are not the thin soft sheets that most people are used to. If you want heavy duty, extra strong, quality, 100% cotton sheets, I recommend these. If you like your regular soft sheets, you might want to add an additional layer of a regular thinner sheet between you and the flat sheet. These are so heavy that my husband washed the flat and the fitted separately (I bought the king size). I have many layers on my bed and I think I will love these for the winter. I have been searching for great sheets after being a long time purchaser from EgyptianPeddler.com, until my last order I received a horrible pilling set of sheets after spending over $500. I contacted Home City Inc to make sure the set I normally purchase is still being made. They assured me that purchasing on their Amazon account that I would get a top quality product. These sheets pilled within the first two weeks of wear just like the other set. It has been 3 months now and I am searching for a new set. The pills are very itchy on my sensitive skin, can't sleep most nights and I have to keep flipping she sheets to find a "non-pilled' area to sleep on. Do not purchase sheets from Luxur, Impressions, or Home City Inc, they are all from the same company but a different extension/brand/label. So sad to be posting this review I have been a customer of theirs since 2005, the quality has plummeted over the years. Buyer beware, keep your money and do not purchase until you can afford better sheets. I waisted over $1000 bucks on 4 different sets all from Home City Inc. in one month (2) from EgyptianPeddler, (2) from Amazon, and every set has pilled. Read more
